Malahide Castle & Northern Coastal Half-Day Tour

Leaving the city behind, your first stop on this Gray Line Ireland half-day tour will be Malahide Castle (admission included), where you will enjoy a live-guided tour of the famous castle once owned by the very wealthy Talbot family. It is here you will also get the chance to wander the 250-acre castle grounds that are also home to an oriental garden and Ireland’s only Butterfly House, which houses 20 different exotic species of butterflies! While enjoying the gardens and castle grounds, where you will find the private gardens of Lord Talbot, you too have the option to enjoy all there is to offer such as a Museum Shop, Avoca Retail & Cafe, The Malahide Outdoor Store and the Irish Centre for Cycling. After your visit to Malahide Castle, you will continue the tour with a scenic coastal drive through the picturesque town of Malahide and then on to the traditional Irish fishing village of Howth. Here you will get to take the time to wander around this pretty village before making your way to Howth Summit, overlooking Dublin Bay. Which makes for the perfect photo opportunity. Our half-day trip returns to Dublin city via the coast road which gives beautiful views over Dublin Bay, St. Anne’s Park and Bull Island.
